ABOUT THE RIALTO

Built in 1920, the Rialto was one of many theaters on Main Street in Denison, TX. However, when the Rialto opened its doors on August 4, 1920, it soon became known as “Denison’s All-Time Greatest Movie Palace. “ The Rialto gets its namesake from a district in Italy and Shakespeare mentions “Rialto”as a “crossroads for all classes of people.”
